Part 1: Experience
and qualifications required
Essential
A CCAB recognised financial
qualification; ie ICAEW, ICAS, ICAI, CIMA, ACCA or CIPFA
Experience of running a finance
department of a substantial organisation, including strategic business
planning for development of the organisation, budget management, financial
accounting and corporate governance
A proven track record in leading
a substantial operational activity through a period of significant change
and, ideally, embedding a merger programme and driving further growth
and development.
Experience of investment appraisal
relating to Estates, IT and business opportunities
Proven track record in delivering
excellent performance and meeting deadlines
Experience of translating
a high level vision into practice
Evidence of achieving results
through persuasion and negotiation
where no direct authority exists
Ability to command respect
and confidence from a wide range of stakeholders
Desirable
Experience of the requirements
of Government/EU funding and accounting.
Part 2: Competencies

As part of the Agency senior management
team, you will have a highly visible, key leadership role for the whole
organisation. You will inspire staff and delivery partners to engage
fully with the long term vision and purpose of the Agency as well as
actively promoting the Agencyâs reputation externally and internally.

for achievement and empowering staff to achieve these goals.
